Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute offers spring core pilot grants

Apr. 4, 2013

The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute is seeking applications for its Spring 2013 Core Pilot Funding program, which promotes the use of technologies and expertise afforded by the Indiana CTSI core facilities available at all partner institutions.

Successful proposals will demonstrate outstanding scientific merit that can be linked to generating extramural funding or novel intellectual property (IP). Success of the program will be viewed, in part, by the fostering of new funded grants or providing significant contributions to grant renewals. Proposals will be judged with equal measure on scientific merit and the likelihood of generating new intellectual property or extramural grant support.

Funding is for utilization of designated Indiana CTSI core facilities only. Information describing each core is available on the CTSI website. Those cores denoted with an Indiana CTSI seal are eligible under this program.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, April 8.

Faculty from IU, Purdue, and Notre Dame are eligible to apply. For complete application information, including eligibility guidelines, submission forms and a proposals presentation checklist, visit www.indianactsi.org/grants. (Log in using your institutional username and password, and select Pilot Funding for Research User of Core Facilities -- 2013.04.)
