IU Simon Cancer Center seeks medical students for summer research program

The IU Simon Cancer Center is seeking applications from medical students who wish to participate in its summer research program.

The Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center
The William J. Wright Scholarship Fund supports third- and fourth-year medical students with strong academic credentials who plan to pursue a career in the care of patients with cancer. The program also seeks students who have displayed strong humanistic qualities throughout their medical school career.
Award recipients are required devote at least two months of their school year to a project that will further the care of patients with cancer, including a formal basic, translational or clinical science research project, quality improvement project, health outcome research, cancer awareness program.
Students with research grants already supporting their education are not eligible to apply.
All applicants must provide a minimum of two letters of recommendation from separate individuals who can support and recommend their participation in a summer research program.
