National expert to present keynote at Mobile Computing in Medical Education Conference

Warren Wiechmann, M.D., MBA, faculty director of the iMedEd initiative at the University of California (UC) Irvine, will present the keynote address at the Mobile Computing in Medical Education Conference on Friday, May 31.
Using his previous training as a graphic designer and Web applications developer, Dr. Wiechmann has spearheaded a comprehensive digital overhaul of UC Irvine curriculum which uses the iPad as its centerpiece for curricular innovation. His talk will focus on these programs.
The conference is sponsored by the Division of Continuing Medical Education and the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development.
