New technology allows users to read library's journals from an iPad

Mar. 21, 2013

The Ruth Lilly Medical Library is running a trial of BrowZine, a new technology that allows users to browse, read and monitor some of the library’s best journals from your iPad.

BrowZine can easily be synced up with Zotero, Dropbox or several other services to help keep all of your information together in one place.

To learn more, watch this two-minute video.

For the trial, search for “BrowZine” in the App Store and download the app for free, then select “Indiana University School of Medicine” when launching the app for the first time.

Please also note that for BrowZine to work smoothly, users also need to download the VPN app, called Junos Pulse, from the app store for free. For more information about installing and setting up the VPN, visit the IU Knowledge Base.

This trial is only available for a few weeks, so feedback is appreciated while the library considers subscribing to this service.

Please send feedback to cascom@iupui.edu.
