The deadline for applications for Associate Directors in the Center for Interprofessional Health Education and Practice has been extended to March 31.

The recent establishment of the Indiana University Center for Interprofessional Health Education and Practice has created several unique opportunities for faculty to help shape interprofessional education and practice (IPE/P) at Indiana University.
The Center’s purpose is to foster an interdisciplinary approach to health care and education. The Center will be led by Dr. Judith Halstead, who serves as Director and three Associate Directors with a focus in one of three areas: curriculum development and integration; faculty development and leadership training; and outcome evaluation and scholarship.
The curriculum development and integration pillar will focus on creating and supporting IPE/P opportunities throughout the university, integrating the IPE/P model into school curricula.
The faculty development and leadership training pillar will work with interested faculty members to develop and strengthen their ability to utilize IPE/P in their teaching and course development.
The outcome evaluation and scholarship pillar will be responsible for evaluation efforts related to the Center and dissemination of outcomes and best practices developed at Indiana University through scholarly publication.
Each Associate Director will lead a committee of faculty members from across the health professions schools that will be responsible for one of the three areas mentioned above. Each Associate Director position will be a commitment of 25% time for the faculty member and appointments are expected to start June or July 1.
